  • The club can undertake training in groups no larger than 10 players. Any official (ie: coach) required for the conduct of the activity is not included in the limit however, should be strictly limited to only essential personnel.  No more than 3 training groups per oval at any one time with groups not permitted to interact
  • Training activities will be strictly NON CONTACT (no tackling, bumping etc)

  • Club provided footballs to be wiped with antibacterial wipes or alcohol-based sanitiser prior to and after each use
  • Any official responsible for the conduct of training, match day operations or any other relevant activity will undertake COVID-19 infection control training
  • All players and official are encouraged to subscribe to the Government’s COVID-19 tracing app
  • Cleaning will be conducted per Routine Environmental Cleaning as per the Australian Government’s Environmental Cleaning and Disinfection Principles for Health and Residential Care Facilities. Routine cleaning will occur, with particular focus on frequently touched surfaces such as door locks, toilet buttons, sinks and tapware.
  • There is a log or register, to keep a track of which participants are in attendance at all trainingsessions, and this is available upon request by SANFL or SA health authorities

The following general hygiene practices for players and official apply at all times, in line with

Government advice:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds;
  • Wash or sanitise your hands before eating (all players and official should have personalised hand sanitiser);
  • If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser;
